Shortly after graduating at the top of his college class with honors and his 1993 induction into Phi Beta Kappa, Howard Glass served his peers as the Justice of Phi Alpha Delta and as a two-term president of our nation's top Health Law Organization while attending law school at the University of Houston on a full academic scholarship. While in law school, he excelled as an intern for both a State district court judge and a federal magistrate judge. Authoring an opinion published by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Mr. Glass received an "honors" designation from Hon. Marcia Crone in 1996. The following year, Mr. Glass was licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas. Mr. Glass initially honed his legal skills in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation at the Haskins Law Firm and, in conjunction with Haskins, was the youngest attorney in Texas to successfully appeal, author and argue legal briefs that resulted in a binding and published Texas law opinion in a medical malpractice and wrongful death case in the Tenth and Fourteenth Courts of Appeal, respectively. From 2002 through 2011, Mr. Glass taught and wrote about chemistry and forensic science, while on sabbatical in S. Florida, and he volunteered his time to serve as a part-time judge for the Miami-Dade Economic Trust's alternative juvenile justice program at the North-Dade Justice Center. Now back in Texas in private practice again, Mr. Glass' firm strives to deliver the best legal results possible and routinely offers professional discounts to those in need and to reward returning clients.
